The Department for Transport have published a consultation to update the Carriage of Dangerous Goods and Use of Transportable Pressure Equipment Regulations 2009 (CDG 2009).

The purpose of these updates are to re-word certain terms in light of Brexit and to re-introduce the legal requirement for vapour recovery systems to be installed on mobile tankers carrying petrol (CDG 1996 Reg 5), which was unintentionally revoked by The Petroleum (Consolidation) Regulations 2014.
